
UK Sales & Customer Support Manager

This privately-owned, UK market-leading company engineers and supplies specialist equipment designed to improve the quality of life for disabled children and their carers.
The business, which is also expanding internationally, now seeks an exceptional individual to manage its UK and Ireland sales and customer support activities. The twin priorities of this key senior role, which reports directly to the MD, will be to maximise profitable sales – with the aim of quadrupling turnover over the next few years – and to drive the development of a world-class customer support operation. Successful performance will be rewarded by excellent prospects of promotion to a general management role as the business continues to expand.
With an impressive track record of developing people and business, you will understand the critical link between quality of service and commercial performance in healthcare markets, and will be capable of optimising this on a nationwide basis. Although specific experience of the medical equipment sector is not essential, you should be familiar with generating key account sales – preferably of high-value products – in a publicly-funded environment, and must demonstrate the clear potential to grow with the business.
